Howdy Ya'll
This page was started and maintained to chronicle the adventures of Bruce & Susan for family & friends since moving to the High Desert of Nevada in the winter of 2000.
We settled in Fallon located in Churchill County, Nevada in the Lahontan Valley. The old homestead is located at the southwestern end of the infamous 40 mile desert not far from the Carson River Route of the California Trail. We love the small town life and living in the wide open spaces of rural Nevada is all that we were looking for we decided to move west.
We share our range with an ever growing herd of Tennessee Walking & Icelandic Horses, and Donkeys  along with the coyotes, hawks, eagles and assorted reptiles that roam the high desert.
With Nevada's wide open spaces we spend most of our free time exploring the high desert and the mountains ranges. You can often find us out in the desert with our Polaris Ranger XP, in our Jeep  Out ghosttowning, geocaching or just seeing where the trail goes.
Sue is in 7th heaven spending several days a week training and riding her ever growing herd of horses. There is something to be said about having a herd in your back yard.

We have included pages dedicated to family and friends, critters and our adventures on and off highway out here in the wild west.
