SONGS I AM LOOKING FOR

So far I need help finding a song with lyrics going like this:

"rollin down the highway, livin in a rat race, waitin for payday"

these are the only lyrics i know of, but it seemed to be a pretty rockin song and i heard it on the radio in 1987 in indiana, if that helps.

thanks for any/all help in finding this song and the group who sang it.
