When you think of Christian music and controversy, you think of Stryper. For some reason, these two things went together, hand in hand. Stryper was a Christian incarnation, but they were also shunned and attacked by some of the most visible Christian 'authorities'. These people were actually outside their concerts with bullhorns saying that Stryper was being used of the devil. 
I have been affected personally by their awesome music and I can tell you that it's a fact that Stryper was used by God to reach people that couldn't be reached before. God used Stryper to change people's lives. They influenced my life in more ways that I can say here, even to the point of saving my life, and that's more than I can say for any of the Christian 'authorities'!
Stryper was four guys who allowed God to use and move through their lives. You could feel the love of Christ through every song they sang, and I can still feel His love in their music when I listen to it today. The message has never changed, because the God has never changed.

Stryper did make some mistakes in the later years, but God is a wonderful forgiving God. And if He chose to forgive, how can we not forgive?

The Stryper boys have gone on to pursue other things, but the message will never change. Out of one band, three awesome groups have emerged; Sin Dizzy, Michael Sweet (solo), and Robert Sweet (solo).
I hope and pray that the guys, along with their new band-mates, will be able to continue the good work and spread the gospel to all living creatures.. 

What Satan intends to destroy, God intends to raise up and exalt!
